Disney offers up the highlight of the week by digging into the vaults and presenting a newly restored and remastered Sleeping Beauty.
The October horror-fest continues this week with Fox's release of the 1976 classic The Omen and The Omen Collection which includes the first three original Omen films as well as the 2006 remake. Fox also offers up the Mel Brook's horror comedy Young Frankenstein. MGM also gets in on the action with a pair of 70's horror classics The Amityville Horror and Carrie. Gorgon Video presents The Original Faces of Death while Warner delivers Beetlejuice, Interview with the Vampire and Otis.
Ray Harryhausen fans are in for a treat as Sony releases The 7th Voyage of Sinbad as well as the Ray Harryhausen Collection boxset. Sony is also debuting the summer Adam Sandler comedy You Don't Mess with the Zohan. Other film releases include M. Night Shyamalan apocalyptic thriller The Happening, the steamy 80's neo-noir Body Heat from Warner, and the indie drama The Visitor from Anchor Bay.
Rounding out the slate are a pair of concert discs, Korn: Live on the Other Side from Image and an imported Foo Fighters: Live at Wembley Stadium from 101 Distribution. Finally, Mantra is putting out Girls Gone Wild: Girls Who Crave Girls.
