What's the word of the week? Clearly it is "Bond", James Bond that is! MGM unleashes a wave of six 007 films including Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Thunderball, Live and Let Die, For Your Eyes Only and Die Another Day. These are also available in two separate three-packs James Bond Collection 3-Pack: Volume 1 and James Bond Collection 3-Pack: Volume 2. You can also scoop up the whole kit-and-kaboodle with the James Bond Collection 6-Pack. Sony has also decided to reissue Casino Royale in a two-disc collector's edition with extra features not found on the original 2006 Blu-ray release.
James Bond may be a cool customer, but can he smash? Yeah, that's right: The Incredible Hulk is here. The deluge of trick-or-treats also continues for another week with Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street from DreamWorks, George A. Romero's Diary of the Dead and Rob Zombie's Halloween (2007) from Weinstein, The Strangers from Universal, The Woods Have Eyes from Echo Bridge, and The Breed from Image. It's never too soon for Christmas, so we also have Holiday Favorites with the Wonderland Carolers from Cinevolve and The Yule Log: Christmas by the Fireplace from Concert Hot Spot.
Rounding out the slate is the indie psychological thriller Funny Games, a pair of controversial documentaries with the The F Word from Cinevolve and Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed from Vivendi, a pair of nature documentaries Africa's Super Seven and Ocean Origins from Razor Digital, the ambient titles America the Beautiful from Concert Hot Spot and Atmospheres: Earth, Air and Water from National Geographic, and some further Blu-ray audio titles from Surround Records Space or Dream of Life and Spatial Dynamics.
